We are happy to announce the very successful international conference that took place in
Bologna on 16 th October 2024. The conference was one of the capstone events towards the
finalization stage of our project and it aimed at raising better awareness about the results
and opportunities for further exploitation. It is also important for our team to attract the
attention of stakeholders and public to the needs of green skills and the broader topic of
sustainable development in vocational education and training. The event was half a day and
covered such topics as the green transition in the VET system, testimonials of student about
their experience during the apprenticeships and their training within the piloting of Go
Green, green strategies, the green transition as resource for new job opportunities, how the
dual system can help students finding a job, and help companies improving their green
attitude, round table composed by VET key actors, companies and policy-makers, titled:
“How a link between VET and companies based on the green transition can help both, and
what we need from policy makers”.
There were 63 participants representing different target groups and stakeholders including the
partner organisations.
