The project Go Green – Supporting the acquisition of Green Skills in VET through work-based learning has achieved its final phase of development for Capacity building of VET trainers to support acquisition of Green skills during work-based learning. It is directly related to the sustainability and impact of the project and its results with focus on further multiplication, mainstream and further implementation of the new model for apprenticeship developed with the novel elements of mentorship and gamification.
The activities executed by all partners in all countries joined efforts for the organisation of national seminars for trainers in VET schools and companies that are interested to apply the apprenticeship framework. The outcomes that are sought are:
- Awareness raising of the importance of apprenticeships in general and for developing green skills.
- Capacity building of VET trainers and companies’ trainers to support the acquisition of green skills by students involved in apprenticeships.
- Capacity building of VET trainers and companies’ trainers to organise design, implement, manage, evaluate and validate apprenticeships based on the framework.
- Capacity building of VET trainers and companies’ trainers to apply gamification and mentoring practices during apprenticeships.
